Merry New York Christmas

We spent Christmas in NYC this year. We sure missed family and it was a little quiet. However, it was still nice. Cam and I cooked up green bean casserole, stuffing, holiday salad, and a jumble berry pie. We picked up a chicken and some rolls and we were good to go! We also invited a friend over to enjoy this special time with us. She is Jewish and has never celebrated Christmas, so this was a fun event for her. :)

Just venting a little

Everyone I talk to tells me they want to lose weight... So why is it that when I start a competition to give them an incentive, nobody signs up?!?! It's so frustrating when you work hard on stuff and nobody appreciates it. (With the exception you, mom!) It happens to me way too often...
