What's up with the New Yorkers

Life update:

Cameron's job is fabulous! It's hard work and he loves every minute of it.

I recently passed my exam and am now a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Sometime this month, I'll be starting a work-study program that I'm psyched about! I'll be working to become Pilates Certified as well as being trained to teach group fitness classes, such as spinning, zumba, kickboxing, etc. Basically, it's a trade. They train me to teach the classes, and then I teach to pay off my tuition for the certification. It's a summer program. Then in the fall I'm going to do their Trainer Academy and learn and get even more experience! I'm so excited!!!

I've been called as a Seminary Teacher. Yikes! Luckily its a shared calling, so I don't have to teach everyday. 5:30 am is an adjustment, but I'm actually enjoying becoming a morning person. The kids are really great too. Cam still doesn't have a calling, but I imaging they are having a hard time finding one that works with his schedule.

Cam is looking at goign back to school for his second master's degree, probably in real estate (real estate management, I think). In the long run of his career, an MBA and masters in real estate will put him way ahead of the curve and allow him to move up the food chain quickly. He might even get his brokers license (those commissions are nothing to sniff at! lol).

We still wake up every day and can't believe we live here. It's a dream come true and the struggles are totally worth it. We encourage all to come visit!!!
